How much does it cost to study at an Iranian university?
Published annual tuition across 37 Iranian universities ranges from €660 a year. A typical master's program costs about €2,000 a year. Medicine (MD) is the most expensive level, typically around $5,000 a year. Living costs are separate — budget roughly $150–$300 a month.
Do these fees include accommodation and living costs?
No. These are tuition fees only. Universities' own published estimates put dormitory, health insurance and food at roughly $150–$300 a month, depending on the city.
Why are some fees in euros and others in US dollars?
Each university sets the currency it charges in. We show the figure in that currency and do not convert it, because converting would mean choosing an exchange rate and presenting our arithmetic as the university’s price. Some universities that price in euros collect payment in rials at the equivalent rate.
Can tuition fees change?
Yes. Universities set and revise their own fees, usually for each academic year. The fee that applies to you is the one stated in your offer letter.
Why is my university not in this table?
Only universities that publish an international tuition schedule we could verify are listed — 37 of the 129 we work with. The rest are left out rather than given an estimate. Ask us about any university that is not listed.
