Scholarships & Financial Aid

SUMS Financial Aid & Scholarships for undergraduate programmes (as published for students admitted in 2025): First-year scholarship — the admission committee awards up to a 15% discount on first-year tuition, subject to International Education Council (IEC) approval for each student. Annual scholarships from the second year — awarded for outstanding academic performance and good moral character, based on the CGPA of the two semesters before the application: Type B1 25%, B2 20%, B3 15%, B4 10% and B5 5% of the tuition fee. All international students are eligible to apply. Family scholarship — an additional 5% per year for each member of the same family while at least two members are attending SUMS programmes (renewable yearly; applicable from September 2022, non-retroactive). A special tuition rate of $4,980 per year (instead of $6,000) applies to M.D., M.B.B.S. and Pharm.D. students enrolling in the 2026 academic year, fixed for the duration of their study. Scholarships cover tuition only — not clothing, books, food or other living costs. Health insurance ($100 per year) is mandatory for all international students. SUMS does not offer a full tuition waiver.
