Fees are flat per-semester tuition in US dollars. Full tuition is charged for 4 semesters of a master's degree, 6 semesters of a research-oriented doctorate and 8 semesters of a teaching-research doctorate; extension semesters beyond these are charged at half the semester rate. Tuition discounts: 25–50% off for students working as teaching or research assistants (first two semesters); 30% off for the top master's student of each entrance year (GPA 17+, or 18+ in humanities); 20% off the first semester for Urmia master's graduates continuing to a doctorate here; and 20% off the first semester for students with an immediate family member studying at Urmia University.
