Entry Requirements

Requires a certificate of completion of high school from a foreign school (also applies to the general doctorate in veterinary medicine). Admission is open to non-Iranian citizens only; under the regulations of Iran's Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, dual nationals holding Iranian citizenship cannot be admitted. A minimum GPA of 14 out of 20 (70 out of 100) or its equivalent is required for all fields of study. Applicants in their final semester may apply before receiving their degree, but admission is cancelled if the degree (or defence minutes) is not presented before final registration. Admission is withdrawn if any discrepancy is found between the applicant's documents and the admission regulations.

A tracking code (SAORG code) from the competence system of the Non-Iranian Student Affairs Organization of Iran's Ministry of Science, Research and Technology

Completed online application form at admissions.ut.ac.ir/en/admission

Degrees and transcripts of previous educational programmes, approved by a representative office of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the issuing country (or your country's embassy in Iran) and officially translated into Persian or English if not in English

Valid passport or residence card

Personal (passport-format) photo

Letter of commitment to complete the previous programme, for applicants studying their final semester

Diplomas issued in Afghanistan must additionally be stamped by Afghanistan's Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul
