Entry Requirements
Apply online at apply.khu.ac.ir. Degrees and transcripts must be translated and approved by the Iranian embassy in your country: the diploma for bachelor's applicants, the bachelor's degree for master's applicants, and both bachelor's and master's degrees for PhD applicants. Evidence of Persian proficiency (for Persian-taught study) or English proficiency (for English-taught study) should be provided if available. Fees are flat per-semester tuition in euros for the 1404–1405 (2025–26) academic year, for non-scholarship foreign applicants excluding citizens of Syria, Yemen and Afghanistan (different rates apply — contact the university). Payment is converted at the daily free-market rate published at fxmarketrate.cbi.ir. Additional costs: initial document review €50; final admission comprises the review fee, the first semester's fee and two semesters of AZFA Persian course fees; dormitory €120–200 per month depending on quality; meals (two a day, 60 per month) €180–220 per month; health and sports insurance €60 per year on request (family members €60 each). Language courses: placement test €80; each level (beginner to advanced) €140; certificate exam without the course €100; private course €280.
