Entry Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid foreign passport and must not hold Iranian citizenship. A minimum master's GPA of 14 out of 20 (70 out of 100) is required; if the undergraduate GPA is between 11 and 12 (55–60 out of 100), the combined GPA of both degrees must exceed 13 out of 20 (130 out of 200). Persian language: applicants without a Persian certificate who have a satisfactory level of English may enrol with a valid English language certificate — their courses and educational activities are then conducted in English, supplementary English courses may be required, and a basic-level Persian certificate must be presented within the first academic year. A Persian proficiency certificate is mandatory for graduation. Enrolment requires the acceptance letter received from IUST, and before attending in person the enrolment permit from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology must have been received by the university.
