Entry Requirements
Requires a certificate equivalent to a high school degree (a minimum of 12 years of official schooling). Applicants must be capable of residing and studying in Iran, fill out and sign the MUMS application form with all listed documents attached, observe the university's educational and disciplinary rules, and provide a valid health certificate — confirming freedom from infectious diseases including HIV and hepatitis B and C, and from drug addiction — signed and sealed by an Islamic Republic of Iran consulate in their country. Degrees and certificates from non-Iranian institutions must be signed and sealed by an IRI consulate, with the originals submitted at registration; high school diplomas are evaluated and certified by the authorities of Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education (degrees from Iranian universities are exempt). The admission committee may convene an expert committee to interview the applicant, and applicants are notified of the decision about three months after all documents are received. Persian is the medium of instruction at MUMS: admitted applicants must attend and pass courses at a Persian Language Center introduced by MUMS, and proof of Persian fluency is necessary before starting the programme.

Tuition is the annual fee in US dollars and must be paid at the time of registration or the beginning of the course. Fees may increase each year in line with the annual inflation rate announced by the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The International Branch has no obligation to provide students with accommodation, meals or transportation.
