Entry Requirements
General conditions: applicants must not hold citizenship of the Islamic Republic of Iran, must hold a passport valid for more than one year, and must have no legal impediment to continuing their studies. Academic requirements: valid bachelor's and master's degrees, with a minimum master's GPA of 65 (out of 100) or its equivalent, in a field related to the doctoral programme. University records and transcripts must be certified by the competent authorities of the issuing country and then endorsed by an embassy or representative office of the Islamic Republic of Iran. These conditions apply to both course-based and research-based doctoral programmes.

Note 7: 20% discount on fixed tuition for a student who has an immediate family member (sibling, spouse, parent or child) studying at the university at the same time. Note 8: 30% discount on fixed tuition for doctoral students who completed both their bachelor's and master's degrees at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Note 9: 10% discount on fixed tuition for students who completed one previous degree at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Note 10: Students who withdraw must pay the fixed tuition for two semesters.
